Marketing Associate - Remote

We are seeking an energetic and passionate marketing professional to contribute to strategic marketing campaigns for our portfolio of cybersecurity events and media/research products, including industry leaders Black Hat, , and Omdia Cybersecurity. In the Marketing Associate role, you will develop and execute marketing activities targeted to sponsors and advertisers to achieve database and revenue growth goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategy: in partnership with a broader team, help develop B2B marketing plans to increase brand/product awareness, create up-sell/cross-sell campaigns and generate leads
• Sales Enablement: create, manage and update sales/marketing collateral such as prospectus, brochures, eBooks, media kits and sales presentations
• Digital Marketing Campaigns: craft sales prospecting emails for upselling efforts, event updates and social posts
• Lead Management: create and update landing pages using web-based platforms like Eloqua, collaborate with Sales operations to ensure leads are assigned in Salesforce to the appropriate sale reps and report on marketing assisted revenue
• Reporting and Data Analysis: monitor, capture, and report meaningful, relevant data and provide analysis to be used in marketing, sales and content development
• Support the Sales and Marketing teams with ad hoc requests and projects

This position pays a salary range $42,500 - $65,000depending on experience

• 2-3 years of work experience in events and/or digital marketing with solid understanding of integrated marketing principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
• Ability to manage multiple workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; work fluidly and effectively with team members to achieve goals while keeping energy and camaraderie high
• Proficiency working with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, standard business tools/networks, and the ability to quickly learn new software
• Interest in and knowledge of technology markets such as cybersecurity, enterprise communications and general IT
• Hands-on experience with one or more marketing automation tools (ex. Eloqua), CRM (preferably Salesforce) and/or CMS (ex. Drupal or WordPress)
• Must be comfortable working with a remote team
• Some travel may be required
