GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Project Controls Associate will oversee schedule management relating to the construction of solar, wind, and energy storage construction projects in order to ensure that key milestones are being met. This is a full-time position for a 12-month duration with a full benefits package.

The Project Controls Associate will oversee schedule management relating to the construction of solar, wind, and energy storage construction projects in order to ensure that key milestones are being met. This is a full-time position for a 12-month duration with a full benefits package.
Main accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules using project management software
- Support management of multiple project schedules, coordinating with project managers, site managers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving issues as needed
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks
- Provide assistance with claims management across multiple projects.
- Prepare and present progress reports to management
- Contribute to the development and refinement of company-wide scheduling processes and procedures

Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction scheduling and project management
- Proficiency with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- PMP certification a plus
Behavioral requirements:

- Verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to be self-motivated
Physical demands & working conditions:
- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
- Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
- Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
